HOYA's engineers have developed a new anti-static coating that acts like a dynamic field around the filter to repel dust. Ideal for environments where dust is common, these filters require less frequent cleaning and maintenance than traditional filters.

The hardened, anti-static top layer is water-repellent and stain-resistant, and it cleans easily when smudged or when a fingerprint is left on the surface.

The new professional FUSION ANTISTATIC NEXT filters are manufactured in Japan using selected silicate salts that are carefully melted and mixed to produce high-performance optical glass.

HOYA uses exceptional care and precision to apply the enhanced formula of 18 layers of Super Multi-Coating (on both sides) which significantly reduces or eliminates reflections on the glass surface and delivers an extremely high degree of light transmission. This means that the filter has virtually no effect on the color balance, contrast, or clarity of the final image.
