The Hoya Fusion Antistatic Next filter is a UV filter for camera lenses, with an antistatic coating that repels dust. The water-repellent, stain-resistant top layer is easy to clean of smudges and fingerprints. The 18-layer Super Multi-Coating, applied to both sides, reduces reflections and allows high light transmission without significantly affecting color balance, contrast, or image clarity.
The optical glass is made in Japan from silicates. The filter has a one-piece, low-profile aluminum frame designed to limit vignetting on ultra-wide-angle lenses.
