Our culture is built on the repression of drives. Each individual has relinquished a part of their ownership, their authoritative perfection, the aggressive and vindictive tendencies of their personality; from these contributions, the common cultural ownership of material and spiritual goods has emerged.

Beyond the basic need, what has driven individuals to this renunciation are precisely the family feelings derived from eroticism. Anyone who, due to their rigid constitution, refuses to participate in this drive repression finds themselves facing society as a 'criminal', as an 'outlaw', if their social position and exceptional abilities do not allow them to assert themselves within it as a great man, as a 'hero'.
