    It burned out my float too, even though I did everything the instructions said. Be careful guys... you try to remove the limescale and you end up causing even more damage

    I have a built-in GEBERIT flush tank, 3 years old, which has a small leak.
    I read that this product removes the limescale that causes the gaskets not to seal properly and decided to try it.
    I followed the instructions exactly and even noticed that in Greek they are not clear, so I followed the English ones. So, the instructions are also poorly translated.
    So I let it work but nothing happened. The leak continued.
    After 2 days, reading online, I found the solution of white vinegar (€2.98 for 4 liters) and I put about 1.5 liters and left it overnight.
    The next morning the leak stopped!

    I can't draw any other conclusion than that vinegar, which is cheaper and non-toxic (clearly stated on the product label), is better as it is cheaper and more effective.

Faren liquid cleaner removes limescale, soap residue and water spots from bathroom surfaces, leaving a pleasant scent. Regular use helps prevent limescale from building up again. It is concentrated and suitable for descaling internal and external toilet cisterns, leaving no residue after use.

It does not damage or deform plastic or rubber components. For cistern maintenance, add 500 ml of the product to a full cistern and leave the solution to work for 5–10 minutes. For descaling, turn off the water supply, add 500 ml of the product, then turn the water supply back on after 2–3 minutes and flush the cistern.
