What does the current economic crisis entail for modern management? How can businesses in our country navigate out of the crisis with the least possible losses while gaining valuable learning experiences? Is this crisis a good opportunity to reassess established practices and critically examine the dominant philosophy of management and business leadership?

This book attempts to provide practical and comprehensible answers to the above questions. Firstly, it identifies the main traps in which individuals and organizations fell before the crisis, as well as during it, as a result of entrenched mental models. The 'surprise' of the global crisis in 2008 was paradoxically followed by the illusion that this does not concern our own businesses.

Moreover, it traces the urgent needs for management in times of crisis. Although they begin from different starting points and analyze the crisis through the lens of different fields of study, the authors converge on some general trends and priorities for management, such as risk management, flexibility, innovation, change leadership, and the creation of ambidextrous organizations.
