GOODRAM M2 GEN2 2280 PCIe 3x4 1TB PX500

Providing up to 4 times better sequential and random transfer performance compared to SATA III solid-state drives and lower latency than AHCI units, the GOODRAM PX500 gen.2 boosts your computer. The performance will enhance the work of the most demanding customers, offering read speeds of up to 2050MB/s.

High performance: By creating a drive based on efficient memory in 3D NAND technology, we managed to achieve sequential transfer parameters of up to 2050 MB/s for reading and 1650 MB/s for writing.

New capabilities with NVMe: The NVM Express communication protocol was designed from the ground up to achieve the potential of fast flash storage media. By using it in the SSD PX500 gen.2, we were able to extract maximum performance from the memory, controller, and PCIe Gen 3 x4 interface. NVMe drastically reduces latency and queue time to offer much better responsiveness compared to AHCI-based SSDs.

Heat under control: One of the issues concerning the M.2 SSD format is thermal throttling – performance limitation due to very high ambient temperature. To keep it under control, the PX500 gen.2 has a special coating consisting of copper and graphite. Thanks to this, we achieved very good heat dissipation without increasing the size of the drive.
