The new edition of the work is presented updated with the latest case law and enriched with the addition of a new chapter on the courts (articles 87-100 of the Constitution), as well as a selection of specialized (Greek) bibliography at the end of each paragraph.
The update of the work, combined with the addition of the new chapter and the bibliography tables, inevitably led to a significant increase in the number of pages. Nevertheless, the essential characteristics of the work, its systematic structure, and its comprehensible writing style remain unchanged.
The content of the book covers the entirety of the subject of "organizational" constitutional law: The concept and functions of the Constitution–Constituent and amending power–Brief Greek constitutional history–Guarantees for the observance of the Constitution–Relationship between international and domestic law–Constitution and European integration–Fundamental constitutional principles or organizational foundations of the regime–State organs.
As the author himself notes in his preface, this is a consciously "heretical" work, to some extent, which calls into question the correctness of certain traditional theoretical assumptions, as well as the accuracy of some judicial solutions given to key issues of our country's constitutional life, thus encouraging the reader to delve deeper into critical analysis.
