Shatter Me - Tahereh Mafi
A dystopian read with a unique first-person narrative that focuses on the personal relationships of the protagonists but mainly on the thoughts and psyche of the main character. A lyrical, psychological style of writing that unfortunately will not suit many, as was the case for me. I would rate it 2 to 3 stars because I found it quite strange, but at the same time, I want to see what happens next. I have certainly never read anything similar in a book before.
Intrigue, secrecy, and a world reminiscent of Divergent, Hunger Games, or Maze Runner. Politics, plot twists, regulations—a mess in the New Government. As a fan of the genre, I dare say it was lacking and poorly executed, even though the idea had potential. The characters' powers as well as the political intrigue were two elements that kept me reading. I admit that at first, I was tired by the author's writing style, which tried to put us in the protagonist's mind, but it played an important role in the plot. From the middle onward, it keeps the reader in suspense. However, as I mentioned, the writing was not for me. I definitely want to see what happens in the next books to form an opinion. I would like to see more about some characters.

Ένα δυστοπικό ανάγνωσμα με μία ιδιαίτερη γραφή σε πρώτο πρόσωπο που εστιάζει στις προσωπικές σχέσεις των πρωταγωνιστών αλλά κυρίως στις σκέψεις και τη ψυχοσύνθεση της πρωταγωνίστριας. Μία λυρική γραφή ψυχολογικού χαρακτήρα που δεν θα ταιριάξει σε πολλούς δυστυχώς όπως έγινε και σε εμένα. Θα του έβαζα 2 με 3 αστέρια γιατί το βρήκα αρκετά περίεργο όμως ταυτόχρονα θέλω να δω τι θα γίνει παρακάτω. Σίγουρα δεν έχω ξανα διαβάσει κάτι παρόμοιο σε βιβλίο.
Ίντριγκες, μυστικοπάθεια και ένας κόσμος που θυμίζει Divergent, Hunger Games ή Maze runner. Πολιτική, plotg twists, κανονισμοί ένας χαμός στη Νέα Διακυβέρνηση. Ως λάτρης του είδους τολμώ να πω ότι ήταν ελλιπές και κακό στην εκτέλεση ενώ η ιδέα είχε προοπτικές. Οι δυνάμεις των χαρακτήρων καθώς και η πολιτική ίντριγκα ήταν δύο στοιχεία που με κράτησαν στην ανάγνωση. Ομολογώ ότι στην αρχή κουράστηκα με τη γραφή της συγγραφέα που προσπαθούσε να μας βάλει στο μυαλό της πρωταγωνίστριας αλλά έπαιζε σημαντικό ρόλο στη πλοκή. Από τη μέση και μετά κρατά τον αναγνώστη με αγωνία. Ωστόσο όπως ανέφερα η γραφή δεν ήταν για μένα. Σίγουρα θέλω να δω τι θα γίνει στα επόμενα για να έχω άποψη. Θα ήθελα να δω περισσότερα για κάποιους χαρακτήρες.
