As soon as my nails were ready, I went straight home and turned on my computer. I typed “What is manifesting?” into Google and sat down to read, research, listen, learn, and absorb as much as I could about it. I already knew the first thing I wanted to manifest: unconditional love. Just one week after the podcast, and after I had applied some of what I had learned, I received a message on a dating app, Raya, from an Australian actor named Wade Briggs. We had no mutual friends, but I found him particularly attractive so I replied, and soon an endless marathon of messages began between us. Two weeks later, Wade happened to make a four-day stop in London, after spending several months traveling around Europe in a van with his best friend before returning to Australia. So, we decided to meet on the second day he was in the city.

The date went so well that Wade decided not to take the plane back home, so he could “stay a little longer and see what happens.” Three months later, we found out I was pregnant. On June 7, 2019, exactly one year after the day I received his message, our son, Wolf, was born. That was it: unconditional love. Three years later, Wade and I are stronger than ever, absolutely and completely crazy about our perfect little boy. In addition, I freed myself from all kinds of addiction, created a successful career for myself full of goals and passion, I am happier and more fulfilled than I can express in words, and I finally have something I thought I would never achieve: self-love.

The author relies heavily on the element of luck/risk and that generally the universe helps you realize your plan. In her examples, she mentions her life, which does not help as it addresses a specific group of people and you cannot relate to understand. After a certain point, it becomes repetitive and the book becomes boring, while some parts that I found interesting I realized come from other books. Although as a book it is very well presented externally, I would not recommend it as a self-improvement book; there are much better ones on the market!

This review is about the publication date: 2024

The author repeats herself constantly in many parts of the book, and even in some places she copied and pasted sections from her previous book. I also didn't like that in some parts of the book she advertises the services/products she sells on her website. Someone can improve themselves without these unnecessary materials, and by doing so, it undermines the book itself. Otherwise, it is a relatively good book to start adopting a different perspective in your life, and some exercises seem useful, but in my opinion, not all of them.

Sympathetic book, but the author's views are heavily based on the universe. Everything she discusses comes from psychology. And the examples she gives are not so common, I believe they happened by chance. The fact that, for example, you reject a job offer from a company in order to work at the company of your dreams, does not necessarily mean that it will definitely happen if you reject the first one. I understand that this is manifesting in essence, but the examples she gives are not very helpful. Overall, it seems somewhat "weird" to rely so much on the universe. I give it 3 stars because it contains good exercises for self-empowerment/self-esteem and puts you in a process to think and act more positively. Also, I didn't like the author's writing style that much. Anyway, the book did not meet my expectations, maybe others will find it very good.
