Description

I have heard the voice of your heart. I know the search of your soul and I know how deeply you desire the truth. You have sought it with pain, but also with joy. You have pleaded with me endlessly. Show me who I am. Explain me. Reveal me.

I do it here, in terms so clear that you cannot misunderstand them. In language so simple that you cannot misinterpret it. In words so easy that you cannot get lost in verbiage. So come. Ask Me anything. Anything. I will make sure to give you the answer. I will mobilize the whole universe to do so.

That is why you must stay alert – this book is not My only tool. You may ask a question and then put this book down. But beware. Listen. To the words of the next song you hear. To the information in the next article you read. To the story of the next film you watch. To the random expression of the next person you meet. Or to the whisper in the next river.

This review is about the book: 1

He does not converse with God but with his own conscience, he contemplates his nature and existence and philosophizes on his own, giving these answers, which perhaps at those moments he was in a state of inspiration... it is a beautiful narrative..

I bought this trilogy after "borrowing" and eventually losing the original editions of Conversations with God. If you haven't read this book, I envy you! You are on the threshold of discovering a new, radiant, beautiful world, you are on the threshold of hearing your soul sing with joy and your heart leap with longing, you are on the verge of creating an incredible, wonderful, and unimaginably intimate relationship with God! A God who has absolutely nothing to do with the one they described to you in school and catechism, a God whom you can't help but fall in love with.
A small note, if you are in your 40s or older, it will be difficult to do all of this without a good pair of reading glasses, the characters are too small to fit three volumes into one.
And the text differs from the original translation.

This review is about the book: 1

Almost all the questions we would ask God if we had the chance... An enjoyable dialogue between a person lost in the search for truth and an approachable "God." God as a transcendent entity or the bottomless unconscious of a thinker? It matters little... Two things are certain. First, you will enjoy it. Second, you will read it several times.

A book that was also made into a movie in 2006, which is good but falls short compared to the book.
