This is the 2nd (REAWAKENING) and 3rd (GREETING) book that completes the trilogy with the general title FUNERAL (The first one, EXHALATION, was released in June 2008).

Excerpt: [...] as they lifted the body by the armpits with a careful but instant abrupt movement of the hands so as to allow the new position to become more suitable for the imminent intervention, unsupported and unprotected, the head tilted abruptly and backwards as if it nearly fell, almost broke, the loose neck stretched like a metal sheet with a force suggesting that it was not even his own, yet no sound was made; the face already mute, closed, only the breath faintly drawn as if by suction, as a weak but urgent inhalation leaning the head backwards, it was as if he spoke the moment he leaned, as if he said something not with his mouth, as if the whole body understood that someone had removed it from its former position and placed it now in an uncomfortable, unfamiliar stance, holding it high above the pillow where until now the head had been sunk, holding it thus, the body, the hands, exactly as it could no longer by itself, leaning the head backwards, the whole head as if it had become disconnected from the body below the neck, found itself outside of what had suited and eased it until now [...]
