This book contains autobiographical interviews-portraits of five political figures who, through their presence and work, have shaped the political landscape to this day, leaving a strong mark on recent political history and providing important historical data for a specific period, as they were all nearly contemporaries, born within a decade (from 1914 to 1924).
The distinct perspectives of each, depending on their political position, offer a circular view of the events that marked political life for half a century and represent an important piece in the political history of the country.
The reader will easily discern whether my interlocutors were characterized by modesty, egotism, a perception of the common good, a genuine willingness to contribute to the country, if they had vision, a philosophical dimension of thought, generosity, pettiness, sensitivity, and many other traits.
By avoiding any intervention, maintaining equal distance, and respecting each individual's linguistic characteristics, I hope I have managed to illuminate aspects of their personalities, revealing many elements that composed their ego, their view on politics, on people, on themselves, and on the world.
