Fifty-three women authors of contemporary Greek literature unite their voices into one Voice, wanting to speak about the reality of visible and invisible gender violence, the structures of gender domination in their complexity, the experiences of oppression as well as the struggle for empowerment, emancipation, true companionship, and solidarity.
Their stories are shocking as they narrate tales of violence and resistance, traveling from the most remote villages to the big cities, from Europe to the depths of Africa and Latin America. With their minds always on the pioneering Greek women writers forgotten by official History, the authors of the book, having also experienced the reality of gender violence in one way or another in various fields of daily life, aimed to amplify women's voices and let their truth be heard.
The authors of the volume are members of the network of women writers against gender violence and femicides "the voice of".
