Description

Description

If the modern person has made the pursuit of fleeting experiences their flag, repentance for the Christian is the entirely unique and unparalleled experience that can truly shake a person to their core.

And even if the boredom of a peaceful existence after the pursuit of various experiences can weigh heavily existentially, repentance can literally awaken and revive a person. The repentant individual discovers that they become a new person not because they find a literally different self, but because they are freed from what bound them to discover their innermost true self.

And if the analysand can indeed discover their desires and accept them, sometimes bypassing their conscience that prevents them from sinful pleasure, the repentant individual, with their conscience guiding them away from sin, slowly realizes that their desires align with the will of God. Thus, their life becomes infinitely more abundant.

Beneficial writing! Easily understandable analysis of difficult concepts. A theology lesson in a completely comprehensible way for everyone! I will also purchase the rest of his books.

I really have no words! Great is the grace of Saint Nektarios. I wish it gives us all strength and courage. In the book, he analyzes important concepts about the soul, consciousness, moral law, sin, God, etc. A book that, in my opinion, everyone should read, just like all the books of the Saint.
