The reader in Ovolos encounters the application of the classic method of H. Ch. Papadimitrakopoulos: The past is reproduced through an approach to nostalgia and through the use of selected expressions from the καθαρεύουσα (purist) language.

On the other hand, the extremely rigorous textual structure, the clarity and precision of expression, along with absolute attention to detail, remind us of the currently popular minimalism.

In an environment of voracious abundance and noise, such as the one we live in, Papadimitrakopoulos invites us to focus on the insignificant and the modest.

That is why one of his remarkable characteristics is that the prose of the small, the simple, and the clear that he cultivates is completely modern.
