At the urging of Alcinous, Odysseus recounts the adventures of his journey back from Troy. His brave companions, warriors and sailors, faced the Cicones, the Lotus Eaters, the Cyclopes, the Laestrygonians, but particularly thrilling was their passage through the islands of Aeolus and Circe. They stayed on the last island for about a year!
