We have all at some point thought about what we would choose to do if we were notified that there are only forty-eight hours left until the planet is destroyed. The menu usually includes sex, extravagant spending and debauchery, favorite music and tastes, various extreme acts, saying goodbye to loved ones, sex and again sex.

Surely, the menu does not include this constant whining, crying, and misery, guilt and blaming of everything, the addictive watching of doom-laden news broadcasts and the harmful reading of pessimistic and fatalistic publications.

Therefore, the end of the world has certainly not come. A book that overturns the clichés of foreigners about Greeks, but also of Greeks about themselves, seeking support and answers in a collapsing world.

Whatever burns us daily, articulated with anger, humor, but also self-deprecation, in a way that would embarrass the guests of any television panel and would force the host to interrupt the discussion and hastily cut to commercials.

In other words, the adventure of a people who fell asleep one night among the thirty richest countries in the world and woke up on a bench, among the outcasts of the Universe. Wake up, man!
