  • This review is about a variation of the product

Positives: They match the dimensions of the vehicle because they have obviously been hand-measured and are RELATIVELY more stable than general-purpose ones. They have good edging and seem like they will last (just got them). They have a nice appearance mainly because the driver's insert mat is made from the same carpet and won't come off - it doesn't have edges all around - but also because a nice carpet is used. Additionally, it has the car company's logo which gives a somewhat sportier feel, especially if you love this particular car and thus the company, although it seems that this label is somewhat "handmade" (see photos).
Negatives: The carpet is relatively thin (see vertical view in photo) and moves easily from stepping even though the shape is fixed, it just doesn't move like general-purpose mats. Although there was an attempt to follow the lines of the vehicle, the bumps, etc. (see photos), there wasn't a "second (re)design" to see where it doesn't "sit" well, resulting in it being good, but not classy. For the back seat, there is no provision for the transmission hump between the two seats, so since the kids step there too, an old mat had to be placed to "connect" the two sides (see photo). Theoretically, the designer is correct, but we also want extra mats, not "stock", with improvements, and we also pay "quite a bit". The price-product ratio is disproportionate. The mats cost as much as three or four simple mats and neither is the material better, nor does it cover the whole service framework 100%. The only reason to pay so much money is either to love your car very much and want to provide it with this product, or to understand that the product is not mass-produced and "costs" the producer, who has a "smart" idea that also needs to be paid for. That's why the rating is average: Neither bad nor good - three stars to be fair. The customer's choices will add the other two stars or remove them as well... As I said, I'm in the middle. If something changes in the future, I will return.
