The copal essential oil is extracted from the plant botanically named Copaifera officinalis. The essential oil is obtained from the resins of the plant through the steam distillation process. It has a warm, amber fragrance with citrus notes, and its color ranges from yellow to brown.

Safe usage:

• Do not use essential oils on the body without proper dilution.

• Individuals with heart conditions and hypertension should use it cautiously and consult a physician.
• Avoid sun exposure for 12 hours after using essential oils from citrus fruits.
