Pennyroyal Essential Oil (Mentha arvensis Herb Oil) - INCI Name: Mentha arvensis oil

The essential oil of pennyroyal is produced from the flowers and leaves of the Mentha arvensis plant through the steam distillation process.

Its color ranges from clear to light yellow, and its scent is strong, fresh, and cool.

• It was used in ancient times as a raw material for remedies that addressed coughs and colds.
• It acts as an insect repellent and is used in baths.
• It provides a cooling sensation on the skin when incorporated into creams and ointments, and it is believed to combat muscle and physical fatigue.
• It is used in aromatherapy to eliminate unpleasant odors and is thought to aid concentration.

Safe usage: Do not apply essential oils directly on the body. Use a carrier oil, such as almond oil or jojoba oil, in a ratio of 10ml (carrier oil) to 5 drops of essential oil. It should be avoided by pregnant women and children under 5 years old. Individuals with heart conditions and hypertension should use with caution and medical advice.

Do not expose to sunlight after using citrus essential oil for 12 hours due to potential skin irritation.
