It is suitable for landscape photography and for creating a blurred water-flow effect in waterfalls. Its optical quality is supported by a double-layer reinforced multi-coating, with both sides ground and polished to help reduce reflections and maintain image sharpness.

Its surface has a special water-repellent treatment, so water droplets remain beaded and are easier to clean. It also provides protection against dust and water.
