The Dictionary of synonyms-antonyms of Modern Greek expands, deepens, and enriches the knowledge and use of the language. It includes:

• the greatest wealth of synonyms and antonyms compared to any other modern Greek dictionary (250,000 synonyms and antonyms)
• 500 comments that explain the differences between semantically related words or illuminate their communicative peculiarities
• synonyms for all meanings of each entry, as in an explanatory dictionary
• selected examples for understanding the use of synonyms
• arrangement of synonyms according to their semantic proximity
• stylistic and semantic characteristics of the use of synonyms (familiar, scholarly, popular, etc.)

Specifically, in the 2nd edition, the following were made:

• enrichment of 3,000 entries with additional synonyms and antonyms
• addition of 250 new entries and comments
• improvements to the internal structure of many entries
