The texts in this volume are three books by Theodor Capidan:

1) BOOK I: ROMINII NOMAZI - THE ARMANI NOMADS 1925/26.

2) BOOK II: FARSEROTI - FARSERIOS - ARVANITOBLACHS 1931.

3) BOOK III: MACEDOROMANII - THE ARMANI 1942.

Their titles are eloquent and predispose the reader to their content, and they are accompanied by my necessary comments or notes. The texts of Theodor Capidan convincingly explain WHO AND WHAT THE ARMANI-VLAHIS ARE, with information completely unknown or distorted by other authors.

I have attempted to point out any overtly "propagandistic notes" of the author, and I believe that many of these will be "sensed" by the attentive reader, and are more related to "historical issues," particularly whether or not they are the same people as the Daco-Romanians of present-day Romania.

He considers and believes that Armanis and Romanians are the same, but he does not convince with his arguments, and therefore many contradictions of the author regarding this "topic" are noted. However, the "propagandistic notes" should not make us overlook the scientifically substantiated points presented by Th.K., and it is good for those who seek to know the truths about those who constitute "the salt of Hellenism" - namely the Armanis.
