The Hartmann Cosmopor Transparent adhesive dressing features a clear, waterproof polyurethane film with an absorbent layer for wound exudate. The film is semipermeable and coated with polyacrylate adhesive. The dressing consists of viscose fibre and a polyethylene mesh that does not stick to the wound. It is used for postoperative care of wounds with light exudate, minor injuries, and as protection against microorganisms.
The porous adhesive layer is hypoallergenic and breathable, and stays in place even when you sweat. The dressing can be removed almost painlessly without leaving residue.
