Design for clay courts
The Nike Claybreaker technology ensures better traction and less clay buildup on the court. The added grip at the forefoot and midsole is combined with a wide traction pattern to keep you in control during sliding movements. For the shoe design, we used traction and pressure maps, while also analyzing clay buildup points. We then tested it on red clay courts in Europe under various weather conditions for clay courts (in cold and warm, wet and dry surfaces).

The Air Zoom unit in the heel provides support, while the Air Zoom unit in the forefoot offers a long-lasting, responsive feel.
Quick Cuts
The durable plastic surface in the midfoot provides greater stability for quick cuts during your game as you transfer energy from movement to movement. The wide base ensures stability for rapid direction changes.
Perfectly stable fit
The synthetic material around the side section keeps the foot stable during lateral movements.
