Description

Haven't you had enough of the Fourth Wing? Read two additional chapters from Zayden's perspective.

“Although the flying gryphons lack characteristic magic, they are not powerless. It is a big mistake to underestimate them.”

GRYPHONS OF POROMIEL, A STUDY OF THE BATTLE BY COLONEL GARION SAVOY.

“In the first year, some of us lose our lives. In the second year, the rest of us lose our humanity.”

Zayden Raireson

Everyone expected Violet Sorengeil to die in her first year at the Basgayath Military Academy – even Violet herself. However, the Selection was only the first difficult trial, aimed at sifting out the weak, the unworthy, and the unlucky.

Now the real training begins, and Violet is already wondering if she will make it. Not just because the training is harsh and incredibly brutal, nor even because it is designed to push the riders to the limits of their endurance.

She wonders because of the new lieutenant, who aims to show Violet just how powerless she is – unless she betrays the man she loves.

Even though Violet's body is weaker and more fragile than the others, she still has her wits and steel will. And the leaders forget the most important lesson that Basgayath has taught her: Dragon riders make their own rules.

But the determination to survive will not be enough this year. Because Violet knows the secret that has been hidden for centuries in the Basgayath Military Academy – and nothing, not even the fire of dragons, will be enough to save them in the end.

The stars are for the translation. Otherwise, the book is a page-turner (I would give it 5 stars).
I feel that the translation is done by AI and whoever edited it was bored.
Unacceptable for a €20 book and for a translation from English.
It doesn't mean you shouldn't buy it because of the translation... just if anyone ever sees the reviews, I would like them to know that the sloppy work is obvious.

This review is about book: Fourth Wing, cover: Soft

Wonderful series of books in the Romantasy genre that I can't stop thinking about! Interesting plot with many twists, fast-paced action, fantastic blend of magical worlds and characters (main and secondary) with strong elements of romance and humor! Simple writing that doesn't tire you at all and really pulls you into the story. The 4th book can't come out fast enough! The entire series of books includes descriptions of romantic scenes as well as scenes with intense violence, so caution for any reader who doesn't want that. If you don't want to "suffer," do yourself a favor and read the books after completing the series (5 books according to the author). If you can't wait.... enjoy and welcome to the club!

This review is about the book: 3: Storm Onyx

The book is very good .... It has a lot of content, meaning more events happen compared to the other two books, things and events that you don't expect to happen. This book could have been two, the story progresses a lot, but it doesn't conclude as one would expect, meaning the ending is very open and leaves many questions. The book feels like a stepping stone for the next one. However, the next one will take a long time because the author will write another one first and said she wants time to rest. I think they rushed to release the third book, that's it. Oh, the quality of the cover, the paper is a poem, it even has a map like a real one, and it has a small extra booklet inside, you would think you are opening something else and not a book...

More interesting book the 2nd of the series than the first. And still, in my opinion, it is inferior to the expectations and the rave reviews I read to generally get it. Pleasant fantasy story with more adventure and plot in the second book. Unfortunately for me, the part of the description of the sexual scenes with every unnecessary detail remains, which of course makes the book unsuitable for younger ages. That's it, I hope you enjoy it

This review is about the book: Fourth Wing

It keeps the reader's interest, easy to read, not some impressive story in my opinion as I would expect from a fantasy book with dragons, a fantastic world, etc. Something I didn't like is that the protagonist gets so caught up and so intensely in her feelings for another person, so often, so intensely, and with such a way of expression that it becomes tiring. Also, in personal moments, words and descriptions are used that I wouldn't expect in a fantasy book but in adult books, so I recommend caution regarding the ages to whom the book will be given. That's it, I hope I helped with a general picture and that you enjoy it.

Great book with an incredibly good plot... In the beginning, it puts you a little in the mood, resulting in the book progressing a bit slowly, but once you get into the plot you will read it in one go... It's simply a gem... the book is beautifully designed on the outside, but the maps inside are unreadable with colors (you don't need to strain your eyes to understand where you are). There are some spelling and grammatical mistakes... anyway. Very nice story and it keeps your interest until the very last moment.

It's simply a gem... the book is beautifully designed on the outside, but the maps inside are unreadable with colors (you don't need to strain your eyes to understand where you are). There are some spelling and grammatical mistakes... anyway. Very nice story and it keeps your interest until the very last moment.

I liked it a lot! I have already recommended it to my best friend and we are discussing it!
And this edition is incredible, very impressive!
I don't want to say much about the plot because I might spoil something! But it really is worth it... magic, dragons, secrets, loves..!

There are no words to express myself, just read it if you like fantasy... it has everything love, intrigue, a deadly school and basically it has DRAGONS?

  • The stars are for the translation.
