My story begins with the upgrade from a Ryzen 5 3600 to a Ryzen 7 5700 and at the same time the purchase of an Asus white 4060 graphics card. Motherboard b550a and G.skill trident Z 3600 RAM.
The problem started with the installation of the processor and graphics card.
Suddenly I couldn't run either dx11 or dx12 games randomly with a strange pattern to the point where I sent the graphics card back to the store under warranty, but they assured me there was no problem with the card.
As someone with a background and experience working with PCs, I tried to do troubleshooting. BIOS settings, Windows update, BIOS update, RAM, resizable bar—I tried everything... tried different spare parts, but I couldn't figure it out since the problem was exclusively with the 'graphics.' Sometimes it worked ok and sometimes it wouldn't run programs (tests with 3D mark, cinebench), which troubled me for 2 months straight. Eventually, I got the 5800X and suddenly, in a magical way, all my problems were solved and everything ran perfectly. One thing I can think of is a kind of rare incompatibility between this particular processor and the spare parts I mentioned above.
So far I don't know exactly what kind of problem it is, but I can tell you this if you want to get this particular processor:
This one only works with PCI-e 3, so PCI-e 4x4 devices and SSDs won't reach maximum speed. Also, the L3 cache is half of what a 5700X processor would have, so you're leaving performance on the table.
That's why I sold it, as I made the mistake of not noticing these details from the start because I thought the upgrade from Ryzen 5 3600 would already be enough. But don't be fooled.
I hope this review helps so that no one else goes through what I went through.

Το πρόβλημα ξεκίνησε με την εγκατάσταση του επεξεργαστή και της κάρτας γραφικών.
Ξαφνικά δεν μπορούσα να τρέξω είτε dx11 είτε dx12 παιχνίδια randomly με παράξενο μοτίβο σε σημείο να στείλω την κάρτα γραφικών με εγγύηση πίσω στο μαγαζί αλλά με διαβεβαίωσαν πως δεν υπάρχει πρόβλημα με την κάρτα.
Ως άτομο με ένα background και εμπειρία με εργασία στα PC προσπάθησα να κάνω troubleshooting. Ρυθμίσεις bios, ενημέρωση windows ,ενημέρωση bios ,RAM , resizable bar όλα τα δοκιμασα...δοκιμή με διαφορετικά ανταλλακτικά, δεν κατάφερα να βγάλω άκρη μιας και ήταν το πρόβλημα αποκλειστικά στα "γραφικά". Μια δουλεύει ok και μια δεν τρέχει τα προγράμματα(tests με 3D mark cinebench) με προβλημάτισε για 2 μήνες σερί. Εν τέλη πήρα τον 5800X και ξαφνικά με έναν μαγικό τρόπο επιλύθηκαν όλα τα προβλήματα μου και τρέχαν τα πάντα ρολόι. Ένα πράγμα μπορώ να σκεφτώ, ένα είδους σπάνιας ασυμβατότητας μεταξύ του συγκεκριμένου επεξεργαστή και των ανταλλακτικών που ανέφερα πάνω.
Μέχρι στιγμής δεν γνωρίζω ακριβώς τι είδους πρόβλημα είναι ακριβώς αλλά μπορώ να σας πω το εξής ένα θέλετε να πάρετε τον συγκεκριμένο επεξεργαστη:
Ο συγκεκριμένος λειτουργεί μόνο με PCI-e 3 οπότε οι συσκευές και ssd PCI-e 4χ4 δεν θα πιάσουν την μέγιστη ταχύτητα. Επίσης το L3 cache είναι το μισό από αυτό που θα είχε ένα 5700X επεξεργαστής οπότε αφήνεις απόδοση στο τραπεζι.
Γ αυτό τον λόγο και τον έδωσα μιας και έκανα λάθος να μην παρατηρήσω εξ αρχής αυτές τις λεπτομερείς διότι φανταστικά πως η αναβάθμιση από Ryzen 5 3600 θα ήταν ήδη αρκετή. Αλλά μην γελαστειτε.
Ελπίζω να βοηθήσω με την συγκεκριμένη κριτική ώστε να μην περάσει κανένας αυτά που πέρασα εγώ.

10€ παρακάτω 5700Χ κερδίζετε more cache memory, Sam (amd), RT Intel gpus, pcie 4.0 ssd.
ΕΑΝ και μόνο εάν πέσει στα 90-100€ ίσως να αξίζει αντί για 5700g/x να πει ο χρήστης γλιτώνω από μητρική (low, older gen), κερδίζω σε επεξεργαστή και κάνω ένα τίμιο και οικονομικότατο build.

That's why I sold it, as I made the mistake of not noticing these details from the start because I thought the upgrade from Ryzen 5 3600 would already be enough. But don't be fooled.

Η ιστορία μου ξεκινά με την αναβάθμιση από Ryzen 5 3600 σε Ryzen 7 5700 και ταυτόχρονα αγορά κάρτας γραφικών Asus white 4060. Μητρική b550a και ram G.skill trident Z 3600.
Το πρόβλημα ξεκίνησε με την εγκατάσταση του επεξεργαστή και της κάρτας γραφικών.
Ξαφνικά δεν μπορούσα να τρέξω είτε dx11 είτε dx12 παιχνίδια randomly με παράξενο μοτίβο σε σημείο να στείλω την κάρτα γραφικών με εγγύηση πίσω στο μαγαζί αλλά με διαβεβαίωσαν πως δεν υπάρχει πρόβλημα με την κάρτα.
Ως άτομο με ένα background και εμπειρία με εργασία στα PC προσπάθησα να κάνω troubleshooting. Ρυθμίσεις bios, ενημέρωση windows ,ενημέρωση bios ,RAM , resizable bar όλα τα δοκιμασα...δοκιμή με διαφορετικά ανταλλακτικά, δεν κατάφερα να βγάλω άκρη μιας και ήταν το πρόβλημα αποκλειστικά στα "γραφικά". Μια δουλεύει ok και μια δεν τρέχει τα προγράμματα(tests με 3D mark cinebench) με προβλημάτισε για 2 μήνες σερί. Εν τέλη πήρα τον 5800X και ξαφνικά με έναν μαγικό τρόπο επιλύθηκαν όλα τα προβλήματα μου και τρέχαν τα πάντα ρολόι. Ένα πράγμα μπορώ να σκεφτώ, ένα είδους σπάνιας ασυμβατότητας μεταξύ του συγκεκριμένου επεξεργαστή και των ανταλλακτικών που ανέφερα πάνω.
Μέχρι στιγμής δεν γνωρίζω ακριβώς τι είδους πρόβλημα είναι ακριβώς αλλά μπορώ να σας πω το εξής ένα θέλετε να πάρετε τον συγκεκριμένο επεξεργαστη:
Ο συγκεκριμένος λειτουργεί μόνο με PCI-e 3 οπότε οι συσκευές και ssd PCI-e 4χ4 δεν θα πιάσουν την μέγιστη ταχύτητα. Επίσης το L3 cache είναι το μισό από αυτό που θα είχε ένα 5700X επεξεργαστής οπότε αφήνεις απόδοση στο τραπεζι.
Γ αυτό τον λόγο και τον έδωσα μιας και έκανα λάθος να μην παρατηρήσω εξ αρχής αυτές τις λεπτομερείς διότι φανταστικά πως η αναβάθμιση από Ryzen 5 3600 θα ήταν ήδη αρκετή. Αλλά μην γελαστειτε.
Ελπίζω να βοηθήσω με την συγκεκριμένη κριτική ώστε να μην περάσει κανένας αυτά που πέρασα εγώ.

5700G - 150€
The processor is a 5700g without the integrated graphics. PCIe 3.0 support (no Sam on AMD build, no RT on Intel GPUs, no support for PCIe 4.0 SSD or WiFi 6e).
Price 130-150€. My opinion always: 10€ more, you lose PCIe 4.0 support and get graphics - go for 5700g
10€ less, 5700X, you gain more cache memory, Sam (AMD), RT Intel GPUs, PCIe 4.0 SSD.
ONLY if it drops to 90-100€ maybe it's worth it instead of 5700g/x for the user to say I save on motherboard (low, older gen), gain on processor and make an honest and very economical build.

Τιμή 130-150€. Γνώμη μου πάντα: 10€ παραπάνω χάνετε το pcie 4.0 support και έχετε γραφικά - πάτε σε 5700g
10€ παρακάτω 5700Χ κερδίζετε more cache memory, Sam (amd), RT Intel gpus, pcie 4.0 ssd.
ΕΑΝ και μόνο εάν πέσει στα 90-100€ ίσως να αξίζει αντί για 5700g/x να πει ο χρήστης γλιτώνω από μητρική (low, older gen), κερδίζω σε επεξεργαστή και κάνω ένα τίμιο και οικονομικότατο build.

It's not worth it at all. For the same money, there's the 5700X which has double the L3 Cache memory. Don't be fooled by the 5700 name. Essentially, it's a 5700G without an iGPU. Stay away!

My story begins with the upgrade from a Ryzen 5 3600 to a Ryzen 7 5700 and at the same time the purchase of an Asus white 4060 graphics card. Motherboard b550a and G.skill trident Z 3600 RAM.
The problem started with the installation of the processor and graphics card.
Suddenly I couldn't run either dx11 or dx12 games randomly with a strange pattern to the point where I sent the graphics card back to the store under warranty, but they assured me there was no problem with the card.
As someone with a background and experience working with PCs, I tried to do troubleshooting. BIOS settings, Windows update, BIOS update, RAM, resizable bar—I tried everything... tried different spare parts, but I couldn't figure it out since the problem was exclusively with the 'graphics.' Sometimes it worked ok and sometimes it wouldn't run programs (tests with 3D mark, cinebench), which troubled me for 2 months straight. Eventually, I got the 5800X and suddenly, in a magical way, all my problems were solved and everything ran perfectly. One thing I can think of is a kind of rare incompatibility between this particular processor and the spare parts I mentioned above.
So far I don't know exactly what kind of problem it is, but I can tell you this if you want to get this particular processor:
This one only works with PCI-e 3, so PCI-e 4x4 devices and SSDs won't reach maximum speed. Also, the L3 cache is half of what a 5700X processor would have, so you're leaving performance on the table.
