Description

Description

“The world tried to crush you,” I say softly now, “and you refused to be crushed.”

Juliet played on her own terms and won. She took over Sector 45, was appointed the new Supreme Commander, and now has Warner as her ally.

But she is still the girl with the ability to kill with a single touch – and now she has the whole world at her feet…

How will she manage all this power?

When the threat arrives before them, will she be able to control the power she has and use it for good?

    Revive Me - Tahereh Mafi
    2.5/5
Type of plot: Intrigue, secrecy, and a world reminiscent of Divergent, Hunger Games, or Maze Runner. Politics, plot twists, regulations—a general chaos in the New Order.

The writing: A lyrical, psychological style that unfortunately will not suit many, as was the case for me.

    The book:
Juliette played by her own rules and won. She took over Sector 45, was appointed the new supreme commander, and now has Warner as her ally. But she is still the girl with the ability to kill with a single touch—and now she has the whole world at her feet… How will she handle all this power?
When the threat arrives before them, will she be able to control the power she has and use it for good?

My opinion: A book that felt a bit out of place compared to the others. As if the writing lacked particular cohesion. The protagonists are old and beloved, but I felt that some of them behaved strangely. As if it was written much later than the first three. I also felt it was a bit like a novella with a strange style that, as I mentioned, will not suit many. I think overall I’ll give it 2.5 stars, but I’ll stop the series here.
