Description

The Crucial® T705 Gen5 NVMe® SSD takes Gen5 performance to the next level. Enhance your gaming, create at the speed of ideas, and effortlessly power AI applications with this fully optimized Gen5 masterpiece that operates with the motherboard's heatsink.

With sequential reads and writes up to 14,500/12,700 MB/s, the Crucial T705 surpasses the fastest SSDs of yesterday. The T705 maximizes Gen5 technology with nearly 2 times the performance of Gen4 SSDs without significantly increasing power consumption.

Do more in less time

Get up to 40% faster performance in real-world tasks compared to the Gen4 SSD when booting Windows, launching applications like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, working with popular applications like Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and copying large or multiple files.

Heatsink ready for easy installation and efficient heat dissipation

Ready for use with your motherboard's heatsink, the T705 installs easily into the M.2 slot. The innovative, copper-plated design is engineered to effectively transfer heat from the drive to your motherboard's heatsink, ensuring ample heat dissipation for maximum performance.

Revolutionary speed meets compatibility

With amazing load times and consistently high performance for heavy workloads, including AI applications, the Crucial T705 Gen5 NVMe SSD is designed for Intel® Core 13-14th Gen & AMD Ryzen™ 7000 processors and is compatible with PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 systems for ultimate flexibility.

Quite a fast disk. It didn't reach the speeds promised by the manufacturer, but compared to the previous ones I had, it flies. It goes up to 65 degrees without a heatsink. I will put one on to see if it improves. If you find the model with the heatsink at a similar price, prefer it.

There are no words. Right now, the fastest on the market.

I was a bit anxious about whether it would get hot and if I would need to get a cooler, but my motherboard handles it just fine. They say it throttles at 80c and I think it shuts down at 95c. I can't confirm this because fortunately my motherboard keeps it at a maximum of 62c during stress tests. Of course, my motherboard has good passive cooling for m.2. So, be careful about that.
