This work exposes and dissects, with clarity and directness, some of the most critical causes of the weaving and unweaving of the fabric of governance and democracy in Greece since the Metapolitefsi, starting from the causes of this reformative delay and negligence, which extend to the present day, 200 years after the beginning of the struggle for national liberation.
Many of the articulated explanations and interpretations are presented and analyzed herein.
Specifically regarding the critical problems and persistent weaknesses of the state administration, as well as the means of addressing them, most have been sufficiently identified. Where delay is primarily noted (with exceptions) is in the decisive and consistent action for the implementation of what has been stated.
The work consists of two parts and a total of 29 chapters, through which systematic information and assessments are offered to both the specialist and the interested reader about the problem of public administration, which may be one of the most challenging issues facing the country today.
