They are manufactured in accordance with the Ministerial Decision A6 6404 bis. The materials used for their manufacture that come into contact with the injectable liquid are virgin raw materials and not recycled. They are sterile, pyrogen-free, free from hemolytic substances, and non-toxic. They do not contain substances that inactivate microbes.

The bevel tip of the needle is sharp and free from protrusions and any other defects. The needle tube is straight and of normal wall thickness. The outer surface is smooth and shows no signs of corrosion. They come with a protective cover.

Their sterilization is done with ethylene oxide, which is also indicated on the packaging (in the form of symbols), a method that is applicable, certified, and accepted in the European Community.

The needles are individually packaged. The packaging materials are plastic film and medical paper to ensure sterilization (In accordance with Article 6 of Ministerial Decision A6 6404 bis). The packaging includes a description of the type in Greek, reference to the gauge of the needle, the sterilization method, production and expiration dates, the manufacturing plant, etc.
