The Uplab Pharmaceuticals Symbactil supplement combines probiotics with fructooligosaccharides, a prebiotic that serves as a substrate for probiotic growth. It contains 10 bacterial strains of lactobacilli, bifidobacteria and streptococcus. The probiotics are freeze-dried and microencapsulated three times to help increase their viability and resistance to stomach acid.

Take with a meal and water that is not hot. The capsule can be opened and its contents mixed with water, milk or fruit juice that is not hot, then consumed immediately. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if taking immunosuppressants.
