The eight-strand Kairiki 8+ filament has been upgraded to offer better performance than the previous model. It was developed by Shimano's technical department in collaboration with top Japanese experts, providing a new proposal in the classic PE filaments on the market.

Some features of the Kairiki 8+ include:

• Renewed three-layer coating with the innovative Izanas SF600 material, offering great resistance to seawater.
• Silicone coating to reduce noise on the rod guides and the mechanism's roller.
• Available in 150 and 300 meters, in diameters from 0.06mm to 0.42mm.
• Multicolored filament, suitable for many fishing techniques.
