The holy waters, or agiasmata, are sacred, healing, and miraculous. Myrtos Publications and the author Sofia A. Souli present the book "Healing Agiasmata in Greece", which for the first time attempts a unique cataloging of 70 sanctified springs.

It is prefaced by Protopresbyter Theodoros Schoinas. The reader will journey to well-known or even unknown agiasmata of our homeland that are found in the countryside, in remote places, some within churches and monasteries, others in enchanting locations or hidden caves, and some deep in the earth where the believer descends many steps or little paths to reach them.

From the Evangelistria in Tinos to Panagia Soumela, from Prousiotissa to Saint David in Evia, from Saint Paraskevi in the Tempi to Saint Raphael in Mytilene, and from Crete to Macedonia, the traveler encounters pilgrimage sites and returns with peace in their soul and a little agiasma, precious for some difficult moments.
