HydroClean Advance by Hartmann is a specialized solution for wet wound therapy. It continuously provides Ringer's solution to the wound for up to three days. Along with hydration, the polyacrylate dressing absorbs the wound exudate (fluids), creating an interactive and continuous rinsing process (drainage-absorption) that effectively and safely cleans the affected area.

The product is specially designed for the reactivation of stagnant healing processes. It incorporates antibiotic protection that acts selectively by inactivating the metalloproteinases of the extracellular matrix (MMP). These enzymes, when excessively active, hinder and damage the smooth healing process of chronic wounds. By inactivating them, natural healing begins again.

HydroClean® Advance is the ideal choice for wound care with reduced healing tension. It is highly recommended for the treatment of chronic and poorly healing wounds, focusing mainly on the cleaning and granulation stage. Additionally, thanks to the addition of polyhexanide (PHMB), it is perfectly suitable and effective for the treatment and management of infected wounds.
