The poetic & visual collection Lipstick Traces [revisited] by Georgios-Ikarios Babaasakis consists of 19 poems and 21 images that narrate his journey through letters and arts over the past forty years.
We meet friends and beloved figures of the poet (Vassos Georgas, Thanos Anestopoulos, Georgia Sagrin, Ilias Mbourgiotis, Kalliopi Alexiadou, Eva Stefanis, etc.) as well as timeless heroes (Samuel Beckett, Jackson Pollock, Bob Dylan, Thomas Bernhard, Mark Rothko, etc.) who shaped his personality and contributed to the unfolding of his multifaceted work.
Published by Kappa Publishing with enthusiasm and passion, there are 750 numbered copies, with artistic design by Ioannis K. Tsigas, which are available in a special envelope with a seal; one hundred of them are collectible, bearing the poet's signature as well as a unique handwritten note in each envelope.
