The Hartmann RespoSorb Silicone Border adhesive dressing has an absorbent core that absorbs exudate and retains it inside. The perforated silicone surface sits against the wound, makes application easier and allows removal without injuring the wound. It is intended for acute and chronic wounds with moderate to very high levels of exudate, such as burns, postoperative wounds, traumatic wounds, venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and tumour wounds.
The backing consists of a semipermeable polyurethane film that is breathable and waterproof, so it can be worn while bathing.
