The Hartmann RespoSorb Silicone Border adhesive dressing is designed for the sacral area and absorbs and retains exudate in its superabsorbent core. The perforated silicone contact layer sits against the wound and makes application easier while preventing the dressing from sticking to it. The dressing can be changed atraumatically and almost painlessly.

The core contains cellulose and superabsorbent polyacrylate, while the hydrophilic cellulose fabric helps distribute fluid. The breathable, waterproof polyurethane backing film allows the patient to bathe. The adhesive borders secure the dressing without additional materials.
