No one can live under the rule of the "truth detector" or a chronic – weekly – interrogation about public affairs. However, the professional collaboration with the newspaper is relentless. Skipping work is unforgivable; reasons of "mental health" are not accepted even as a joke.

The crisis is certainly generally lazy, slow, and reluctant – yet the obligation to speak on public matters becomes over the years a rhetorical flaw. This is what Kostis Papagiorgis noted on the back cover of the Poison Control Center, capturing in a few words the stigma of a "professional" writer.

In the Intercity collection are included the texts published in his column of the same name during the period 1995-1997, in the weekly magazine "An" of Apogevmatini and in the cultural insert "Artion" of the same newspaper.
