The Churchill was one of the most successful and famous British tanks of World War II. This unit can enhance your army and enable you to represent at least 7 variations on the battlefield.

The British Army adopted a doctrine that focused on the use of light Cruiser tanks in combination with slower, better-armed infantry tanks. The Churchill was a characteristic example of the latter, featuring thick armor even thicker than that of the Tiger.

Despite its under-armed status, it was loved by its crews for its unmatched cross-country capability. The tank was named after Prime Minister Winston Churchill, who was involved in its development during World War I.

The Vauxhall engines produced by the Churchill formed the basis for many variants, from the MkI with a 2pdr gun to the MkVII 75 mm. In other versions, specialized engineering equipment was added, such as bridging and mine-clearing devices.
