They are manufactured according to the Y.A. A6 6404 bis. The materials used for their construction that come into contact with the injectable liquid are virgin raw materials and not recycled. They are sterile, free from pyrogens, free from substances that cause hemolysis, and non-toxic. They do not contain substances that inactivate microbes.
The blunt tip of the needle is sharp and free from burrs and any other defects. The needle tube is straight and of normal wall thickness. The outer surface is smooth and there is no corrosion. They come with a protective cover.
Their sterilization is done with ethylene oxide, which is also indicated on the packaging (in the form of symbols), a method that is valid and registered and accepted in the European Community.
The needles are individually packaged. The packaging materials are plastic film and medical paper to ensure sterilization (In accordance with Article 6 of Y.A. A6 6404 bis). The packaging includes a description of the product in Greek, a reference to the needle gauge, the sterilization method, production and expiration dates, the manufacturing plant, etc.
