My experience is from controllers of PS1 - PS5, XBOX360 and XBOX Series. This is the first time I use a third-party controller for use on PC.
- The build quality is adequate. Close to the levels of First Party. The black color looks more premium, it is semi-transparent (in both colors) and does not creak at all. The plastic has a pattern on the grips for better feel and to prevent slipping. It has a port at the bottom for headphones and the USB also has a base for mobile phones which is sold separately. It is lighter than the Dualsense and is very close to the XBOX in terms of ergonomics.
- The controller works with Bluetooth for Android, PC and Switch, with a 2.4GHz dongle and with cable for PC. It also works on IOS.
- I sit at a distance of two meters and the dongle is behind the computer. Sometimes it loses signal or has a little delay. It doesn't bother me because whatever I have used always has this issue and with this controller I have the least problems. It's probably a difficult spot in general.
- With cable the response is among the best and without cable it is just as good as the Dualsense.
- It is X-Input and the computer sees it as a Microsoft controller, but also Direct Input, where it is seen as a generic controller or as a PS4 controller on Steam. Steam also sees it as a Switch controller when you connect it via Bluetooth.
- It has Gyro, which works only in Direct Input and they say it's good, I haven't tried it yet in a game.
- The vibration may not have the technology of the DualSense or Xbox, but that didn't bother me at all. Personally, I don't consider the DualSense technology something amazing, even in games like AstroBot. On the contrary, I found the vibration of this controller fuller and less annoying and of course you can change its intensity.
- It features TMR sticks, which they say are even better than Hall Effect (which I have no experience with). I found them excellent and got used to them quickly. Compared to the DualSense, you feel a tendency of the sticks to want to return to the center. Although you feel they require a bit more force, at the same time they feel faster. Also, their movement is very smooth, without friction. The metal anti-friction ring around the analogs helps with this.
- ABXY buttons, LB, RB and D-Pad: They are mechanical and I liked their feel more compared to the DualSense, except for the D-Pad. Their sound is reminiscent of a mouse click. In 'quiet' games the noise is perhaps more annoying than the DualSense, although not necessarily louder. In general, I would choose mechanical buttons again, but if you are looking for a quieter controller, better look for something else, like the GameSir SuperNova which is similar.
- LB & RB triggers: The way I hold the controller, especially at first, was uncomfortable. Coming from many years of using Playstation controllers where R1 and L1 are higher, the adjustment was slower. The index finger, the finger I use to press them, has to go higher to have good contact. At first I had to stretch my fingers and it hurt a bit. Now I press them at the tips and have gotten used to it.
- RT and LT triggers: They are Hall Effect technology and have Hair Trigger function. Their feel is excellent, I feel they have no friction at all. The Hair Trigger is extremely convenient for games that don't require analog pressure and offers a great sense of response. The mechanism to set them to Hair Trigger with minimal nail is fine. It could definitely be more convenient.
- The back buttons are convenient and large. The click sound is 'hollow', it doesn't bother me but they feel slightly lower quality. Also, something annoying is that they don't have a physical switch to prevent accidental presses, you can only do it via software.
- It has Turbo mode and the ability for macros, something the G7 Pro, due to Xbox License, does not have.
- The RGB, although I don't care for it, is beautiful and I believe under the white plastic it will look better than on the black. You can only turn it off via the app, where you can also set any color combination you want and change the brightness.
- The battery is satisfactory. Better than the Dualsense. I never felt it lasted too little.
- It has an excellent program on the computer, with which you can really customize it as you want. Most functions are also available via shortcuts on the controller itself, so the software is not absolutely necessary. You can change 4 profiles with completely different settings.
As a first controller I am quite satisfied. For its price, although I searched a lot, I did not find a more attractive option. I recommend it.

- Η ποιότητα κατασκεύης είναι επαρκής. Κοντά στα επίπεδα με τα First Party. To μαύρο χρώμα φαίνεται πιο ποιοτικό, είναι ημιδιαφάνες (και στα δύο χρώματα) και δεν τρίζει καθόλου. Το πλαστικο έχει pattern στις λαβές για καλύτερη αίσθηση και για να μην γλιστράει. Παίρνει καλώδιο στο κάτω μέρος για ακουστικά και στο USB έχει και βάση για κινητά που πωλείται χωριστά. Είναι πιο ελαφρύ απο το Dualsense και είναι πολύ κοντά στου XBOX σαν εργονομία.
- Το χειριστήριο δουλεύει με Bluetooth για Android, PC και Switch, με dongle 2.4GHz και με καλώδιο για PC. Επίσης δουλεύει και σε IOS.
- Κάθομαι σε απόσταση δύο μέτρων και το dongle το έχω πίσω απο τον υπολογιστή. Μερικές φορές χάνει σήμα ή έχει λίγο delay. Δεν με ενοχλεί γιατί ότι και να έχω βάλει πάντα είναι θέμα και με αυτό το χειρηστήριο έχω τα λιγότερα. Είναι μάλλον δύσκολο σημείο γενικά.
- Με καλώδιο η απόκριση είναι ανάμεσα στα καλύτρα και χωρίς καλώδιο είναι εξίσου καλή με του Dualsense.
- Είναι X-Input και ο υπολογιστής το βλέπει σαν χειριστήριο της Microsoft, αλλά και Direct Input, όπου το βλέπει σαν generic χειριστήριο ή σαν του PS4 στο Steam. To Steam το βλέπει και σαν χειρηστήριο του Switch όταν το βάζεις σε Bluetooth.
- Έχει Gyro, το οποίο λειτουργεί μόνο σε Direct Input και λένε ότι είναι καλό, δεν το έχω δοκιμάσει ακόμα σε παιχνίδι.
- Η δόνηση μπορεί να μην έχει την τεχνολογία του DualSense ή του Xbox, αλλά αυτό δεν με ενόχλησε καθόλου. Προσωπικά, δεν θεωρώ την τεχνολογία του DualSense κάτι φοβερό, ακόμα και σε παιχνίδια όπως το AstroBot. Αντίθετα, βρήκα τη δόνηση αυτού του χειριστηρίου πιο μεστή και λιγότερο ενοχλητική και φυσικά μπορείς να αλλάξεις την ένταση της.
- Διαθέτει TMR sticks, που από ό,τι λένε είναι ακόμα καλύτερα από τα Hall Effect (για τα οποία δεν έχω εμπειρία). Τα βρήκα εξαιρετικά και τα συνήθισα γρήγορα. Σε σύγκριση με το DualSense, νιώθεις μια τάση των μοχλών να θέλουν να επιστρέψουν στο κέντρο. Παρόλο που αισθάνεσαι ότι χρειάζονται λίγο περισσότερη δύναμη, ταυτόχρονα τα νιώθεις πιο γρήγορα. Επίσης, η κίνησή τους είναι πολύ ομαλή, χωρίς τριβή. Σε αυτό βοηθάει ο μεταλλικός δακτύλιος (anti-friction ring) γύρω από τους αναλογικούς.
- Κουμπιά ABXY, LB, RB και D-Pad: Είναι μηχανικά και μου άρεσαν περισσότερο ως αίσθηση σε σχέση με του DualSense, με εξαίρεση το D-Pad. Ο ήχος τους θυμίζει κλικ ποντικιού. Σε «ήρεμα» παιχνίδια ο θόρυβος είναι ίσως πιο ενοχλητικός από του DualSense, αν και όχι απαραίτητα πιο δυνατός. Γενικά, θα επέλεγα ξανά μηχανικά κουμπιά, αλλά αν ψάχνετε για ένα πιο αθόρυβο χειριστήριο, καλύτερα να κοιτάξετε κάτι άλλο, όπως το GameSir SuperNova που είναι παρόμοιο.
- Σκανδάλες LB & RB: Με τον τρόπο που πιάνω το χειρηστήριο, στην αρχή ειδικά ήταν άβολα. Ερχόμενος απο πολλά χρονια χρήσης Playstation χειρηστηρίων που τα R1 και L1 έχουν μεγαλύτερο ύψος, η προσαρμογή ήτα πιο αργή. Ο δείκτης, το δάχτυλο δηλαδή που τα πατάω, πρέπει να πάει πιο ψηλά για να έχεις καλή επαφή. Τον πρώτο καιρό έκανα "ανοίγματα" στα δάχτυλα και πονούσε λίγο. Πλέον τα πατάω στις άκρες και το έχω συνηθίσει.
- Σκανδάλες RT και LT: Είναι τεχνολογίας Hall Effect και διαθέτουν λειτουργία Hair Trigger. Η αίσθησή τους είναι εξαιρετική, νιώθω ότι δεν έχουν καθόλου τριβή. Το Hair Trigger είναι εξαιρετικά βολικό για παιχνίδια που δεν απαιτούν αναλογική πίεση και προσφέρει φοβερή αίσθηση απόκρισης. Ο μηχανισμός για να τα κάνεις Hair Trigger με ελάχιστο νύχι είναι μια χαρά. Σίγουρα θα μπορούσε να είναι πιο βολικός.
- Τα back buttons είναι βολικά και μεγάλα. Ο ήχος του κλικ είναι "κούφιος", Δεν ενοχλεί κάπου αυτό φυσικά απλά τα νιώθεις ελαφρώς χειρότερης ποιότητας. Επίσης κάτι ενοχλητικό είναι ότι δεν έχουν φυσικό διακόπτη για να μην τα πατάς καταλάθος μπορείς μόνο μέσω software.
- Έχει Turbo mode και δυνατότητα για macros κάτι που το G7 Pro, λόγω Xbox License, δεν διαθέτει.
- Το RGB του αν και με βρίσκει αδιάφορο, έιναι όμορφο και πιστεύω κάτω από το άσπρο πλαστικό θα δείχνει καλύτερα από οτι στο μαύρο. Μπορείς να το απενεργοποιήσεις μόνο μέσω του app, όπου μπορείς επίσης να κάνεις όποιον συνδυασμό χρωμάτων θες και να αλλάξεις τη φωτεινότητα.
- Η μπαταρία είναι ικανοποιητική. Καλύτερη από dualsense. Δεν ένιωσα ποτέ ότι κρατάει λίγο.
- Διαθέτει εξαιρετικό πρόγραμμα στον υπολογιστή, με το οποίο πραγματικά μπορείς να το παραμετροποιήσεις όπως θέλεις. Οι περισσότερες λειτουργίες είναι διαθέσιμες και μέσω συντομεύσεων στο ίδιο το χειριστήριο, οπότε το λογισμικό δεν είναι απόλυτα αναγκαίο. Έχει δυνατότητα να αλλάξεις 4 προφίλ με τελείως διαφορετικές ρυθμίσεις.
Σαν πρώτο χειριστήριο είμαι αρκετά ευχαριστημένος. Για τα χρήματα του αν και έψαξα αρκετά, πιο ελκυστική επιλογή δεν βρήκα. Το συνιστώ.
