Description

Nominated for the Skroutz Book Awards 2025 Audience Awards.

We all need others to move forward, and some people need us to find their own light on the horizon.

The book you are holding in your hands is not a biography. Perhaps it is too soon for that. It is the sharing of a truth that can make a timid child a little braver, a troubled parent a little clearer, a person of any age a little more confident, a lost teenager a little closer to finding their path, a soul feeling on the sidelines a little more visible, a different person a little more like everyone else, and a dream much more tangible, no matter how unattainable it may seem at first.

But the dreams in this book, like records, are no longer measured with rulers, but by the marks they leave on our soul and mind. WHEN YOU LOOK FROM ABOVE is not limited to flights over bars like those in pole vaulting, and those who read it will understand.

…I tell you with certainty: your dreams can become reality. Just give them a little time. Thousands of things can come between us and our dreams, but we must find a way to keep them warm and alive. I don’t know what the road ahead holds for me. But I have to move forward and, if possible, a little higher…

Genre: Autobiography / Personal narrative

Atmosphere: Inspiring and moving, with sincere confessions that touch the reader.

In the book you will meet

The journey of Emmanouil Karalis from his first steps in sports to international successes.

Personal experiences and challenges that shaped his character and path.

Messages of hope, perseverance, and faith in dreams, regardless of obstacles.

We loved it because...

Because it offers an authentic look into the life of a young person who overcame obstacles to achieve his goals.

Because Karalis's honest narratives inspire and encourage the reader to pursue their own dreams.

Because it highlights the importance of patience, perseverance, and self-confidence in achieving goals.

This book is for you if…

…you seek inspiration from real stories of people who overcame difficulties to succeed.

…you are interested in personal narratives that offer life lessons and encourage self-improvement.
