To start from the beginning.
It is a spring, moonless, starless, biblical black night in the small town, the cobblestone streets are silent, and the forest with couples and rabbits descends unseen, slow and stealthy, black, down to the black-cormorant, black-cocktail sea that rocks the fishing boats...
The work "Under the Milky Forest, A Work for Voices" is a theatrical piece that the poet wrote from the age of seventeen, and with it, he closed his brief life. It was first performed on BBC radio, where he worked at the time. Two narrators guide us to the place, introduce the characters, and, with lively language filled with consonances, echoes, deliberate non-sentences, and homophones, orchestrate a musical-like narration that leads the reader-viewer-listener to a small fishing village in Welsh countryside, starting from the night of a single 24-hour period.
