The field of Physiology is vast. This work develops the physiological mechanisms and functions that govern and regulate the complex and marvelous phenomenon of life in mammals, particularly in pets.

The goal is to make the wonderful way in which the organism functions understandable; it is not to cover the subject of Physiology in detail. After all, the educational goal is not the accumulation of information, but the development of critical thinking in the subject of learning.

When the student, without being overwhelmed by endless theories and pointless information, perceives the beauty and the multi-faceted usefulness that the science of Physiology presents (even as a means of self-knowledge), he will have taken the first step towards thinking, studying, and exploring topics in Physiology.
