    Love this machine! It's honestly great. I now even got my husband on Cappuccino, and I'm sure I will love using it for iced coffees in summer. I almost did not buy it because of some of the comments and reviews but in the end I did and I am glad.

    The people commenting about decalcifying haven't read the paper that gets delivered with the machine.
    It literally says in the manual Nespresso machines need to be decalcified every 3 months. Also take into account that certain areas in Greece (like Chalandri) have a loooooot of calcium in the tap water. Mine was making a bit more noise than normal so I decalcified it and now all is good again.

    It is a bad product - period. It broke within 6 months (using 2 capsules per day). Nespresso told us it was our fault for not descaling it (at 6 months!!) even though it has a descaling indicator that never turned on. They took it for service for a long time. They returned it, it worked. With the use of 1 capsule every 2 days, it broke again a year later. We suffered so much that no one bothered to fix it. We didn't even receive a phone call. We got a small coffee maker that was given to us as a gift and we are happy with it. Atelier is one of the worst purchases I have ever made.

    Positives: Beautiful appearance, larger water and capsule disposal container than others, produces nice froth in the same cup. Negatives: The build quality is not as good as it appears. Also, the handle for inserting the capsule is so tight that it makes noise when pressed. It drips at the end of each dose (to avoid staining the cup, you have to wait 20 seconds). If you want to make a second coffee, you have to be lucky when placing the second cup, so as not to make a mess. However, the most important thing is that the machine has lost ALL of its water from the container twice, for no reason, creating a serious problem in the surrounding area. Apart from the danger due to its connection to electricity, we are constantly worried and afraid that this will happen again at some point. Nespresso, for the record, was informed before this review was published, in order to inform interested buyers about this negative experience.
