Bought size 46.5 for €75 — what a steal!! I’m an amateur runner (3:15 marathon, 1:28 half) and I wanted a comfortable sneaker for the next day at the office, after a hard workout, or a shoe for trips that can also handle an easy run (5'15-5'30 for me). I should note that I want room in the front because of an issue with a bunion on one foot. I got this one after the recommendation of the guys at the performance store in Thessaloniki, who are pioneers in Altra and generally taught me a lot about different drops (I highly recommend them). So the shoe is a top all-day sneaker. I had worn Altra before, with the Torin in 2020, but back then I went straight into the deep end with zero drop and struggled a bit. In general, you need a slow transition as the drop gets smaller!! Now for the analysis: stable yet soft ride, comfortable, with sufficient responsiveness, you feel the cushioning in the arch and the company’s classic toebox. 4 mm drop, not Altra’s classic zero drop, so your foot still works while you wear it. Also very good breathability because I want it now for summer. It has a low stack, <4 cm, which I like because I also get some ground feel!! So far I’ve used it for a recovery run at 5'40 and I was fine, and of course on a trip with lots of walking and it was superb there too. I haven’t tried it at faster paces, but for the uses I bought it for, I recommend it 100%.

Είμαι ερασιτέχνης δρομέας (3:15 μαραθώνιο, 1:28 ημί) και ήθελα ένα άνετο sneaker για την επόμενη μέρα στο γραφείο, μετά από έντονη προπόνηση ή παπούτσι για εκδρομή που κάνει μέχρι easy run (5’15-5’30 για μένα). Σημειώνω ότι θέλω χώρο μπροστά, λόγω θέματος με το κότσι στο 1 πόδι. Το συγκεκριμένο, το πηρα κατοπιν παρότρυνσης των παιδιών του perfοrmance store, στη Θεσ/νικη που ειναι πρωτοπόροι στα altra κ γενικά μου έμαθαν πολλα περί διαφορετικών drop (τους συστηνω ανεπιφύλακτα). Το παπούτσι λοπόν είναι κορυφαίο all day sneaker. Είχα ξαναβάλει altra, με το torin το 2020, αλλά τότε πηγα κατευθειαν στα βαθιά του zero drop και ζορίστηκα λίγο. Γενικά θέλει αργή μετάβαση οσο μικραίνει το drop!! Παμε τώρα στην ανάλυση: σταθερό και ταυτόχρονα μαλακό πάτημα, άνετο, με επαρκή ανταπόδοση, νιώθεις το μαξιλαρακι στην καμάρα και το κλασικό toebox της εταιρείας. 4ρι drop, όχι το κλασικό μηδενικό της altra, επομένως δουλεύει και το πέλμα σας, όσο το φοράτε. Επίσης πολυ καλη διαπνοή γιατι το θέλω τωρα για καλοκαίρι. Εχει χαμηλό stack, <4cm, που εμένα μαρέσει για να έχω κ σχετικό ground feel!! Το έχω βάλει έως τώρα σε recovery run στο 5’40 και ήμουν μια χαρά και φυσικά σε εκδρομή με πολύ περπάτημα και ήταν σούπερ και εκεί. Δε το έχω δοκιμάσει σε πιο γρήγορες ταχύτητες, αλλά για τις χρήσεις που το πήρα, το συστήνω 100%.
