I mean... the amount of time I've had it isn't enough yet (somewhere around 17 hours xD), but I can say that it might be the best TKL keyboard you can buy in that specific price range. For those who know about Apex Legends, I'll just say that I can do superglides almost consistently, which is enough for me to say that it's very good. For those who don't know, you have to press jump and one frame later press the crouch button to do a superglide, which is very difficult if you don't have a keyboard without Hall Effect (especially at 240fps, which I have locked to my monitor's refresh rate because the more frames you have, the smaller the window to press the buttons at the right timing), so for a keyboard without HE I can say that the fact that I can now do it makes it insanely good. I don't know if it's because it also has an 8K polling rate, but that's a big plus.

The sound... okay, I expected it to be *creamy*, but not this much, it exceeded my expectations. It's hotswappable, so you can put almost any switch you want in it and customize it however you like (it also comes with 5 extra switches in case one of the ones you already have breaks). It's gasket mounted and it feels like you're typing on air. I haven't opened it, but it definitely has foam inside and silicone to dampen the sounds and improve the feel, and it even has foam under the spacebar. For anyone who wants to change keycaps, know that it has north-facing LEDs, so some older Cherry-style keycaps may not fit well, but most likely if the ones you get are shine-through, they will be made for north-facing LEDs so the RGB can pass through, so there won't be an issue in that case.

The 2 keys at the top right next to Print Screen are bound to a weird macro, Windows key + C, and the other one cycles through the keyboard's colors. Personally, I went into the Keychron Launcher on the internet and changed them to the classic default Scroll Lock and Pause Break respectively, because I had just bound them as shortcuts in Discord, but the process to change them was very easy and fast and you don't need to download any software to tweak them, I did everything from their website.

The only negative thing it has, which isn't necessarily a negative, is that it's heavier than my previous keyboard, but that's not something important, I'll get used to it over time. I just tried to twist it with one hand and it needed more effort than I expected, but that's okay because more weight means it won't accidentally turn sideways either (that has happened to me before, I kicked the keyboard with my right hand while I had the mouse xD).

I recommend it with my eyes closed, although I don't know how much weight my words carry with only 17 hours of use

It is my first mechanical keyboard. I have used one only a few times in stores and at a friend’s place.
I searched quite a lot on YouTube, in conversations with AI, on websites, and I ended up quite easily with this keyboard as soon as I read its features.

- The brown switches, without experience with others, are wonderful. There is a tiny tactile feel (that is, the click you feel) that you have to try to notice, but it is enough. From the videos I watched, I expected it to be much more pronounced and luckily it is not.
- I feel some resistance in the keys throughout the press, which some gamers may not want. I do not find them heavy, but I imagine that the red switches, which are lighter, would be a better choice for speed or long hours of use(?). It does not bother me at all; on the contrary, it gives a feeling of quality and the key return is very fast.
- The sound is sweet and deep, and I cannot get enough of hearing it. Together with the feel of the keys, it is the first time I am typing and actually enjoying it.
- You can change all the keycaps and switches. It also includes extra switches and keycaps for Windows, as well as the tool to remove them.
- The letters will not fade and the plastic will not get shiny over the years because of the materials.
- It works on Mac and Windows.
- It is plastic on the outside and inside, with a metal plate and foam. It weighs around 800 g. In a bend test it has minimal flex, and you need force to make it happen.
- It is tall; you may need a wrist rest, and it also has 2 positions to raise it on the back side.
- It does not slip at all on glossy wood.
- Its LED lighting is not excessive. It is hidden between the keys and feels like it comes from a great depth. It also has two discreet strips on the sides. The only negative is that on some keys the light passing through the letters is not perfectly uniform. It does not bother me at all; it is not intense, but if you want to notice it, you will see it.
- It comes with funky stickers that I would never stick anywhere, but they are wonderful.
- The polling rate is 8000 Hz, excellent, though not necessary.
- You do not need any installed program to use it and change its settings.
There are two ways you can change its settings:
Through keyboard shortcuts, which of course are more limited.
Through the browser, by going to Keychron’s special page. The negative is that Firefox is not supported.
The program that runs in the browser is very beautiful, simple, and fast. It has many functions such as:
- Type test - It produces text with time, and at the end it gives you various statistics to help you improve.
- Help center - Information about everything.
- AI - It is slightly slow, but the two times I needed it, it gave me valuable help.
- Key Test - You can see whether all the buttons work.
- Firmware update
- Changing the polling rate and debounce.
- Endless options for macros.
- You can bind buttons so they directly run programs or open websites.
- Backlight - You can do whatever you want with the keyboard lighting, exactly as you imagine it.
- Snap Action - You change the way the keyboard behaves when you press two buttons at the same time.
- Key Map - Here you change what function each key has.
- From what I saw, you can also load profiles from other people with their own settings. I have not tried it yet, but it may be a great feature that can prove useful.
- Something I usually do not pay much attention to, but for this money it impressed me, is the unboxing. On the outside it has an excellent-quality matte cardboard sleeve with shiny gold letters. Inside there is a black matte hard box with an iridescent company logo, and when you open it everything is neatly arranged and there is a large colorful quick guide with keyboard shortcuts. All around the box there is gray, quality Styrofoam. I felt like I was unboxing my RTX5070ti again, except this one costs only 50€-60€.

Experienced users will not need this review, as they will know better than me what the more expensive models offer in addition.

I recommend it as a first mechanical keyboard to everyone. Just make sure it is the 8K. The cheaper one has some shortcomings compared to this one.
