This review is about the colour: Black

It was bought purely for winter mountain use with crampons. My impressions so far are, in order: comfortable, quite warm—if you wear a thick mountaineering sock your foot will sweat, so it's better to use a thin technical one. So far it has been tested on the following peaks: Ziria, Velouchi, Kakarditsa, and Astrapi. I paid 280 but I don't regret it. The only downside is that the laces don't tighten, so you need a technical way to secure them.
Note: it only takes Semi fast.

Description & Specifications

The La Sportiva Aequilibrium LT GTX mountaineering shoes offer excellent performance and are designed for demanding alpine ascents and multi-day hikes. The upper is made of water-resistant nubuck with wear-resistant fabric reinforcements, while the TPU reinforcements on the toe and heel provide extra protection.

The shoe features a GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane, which ensures waterproofness and breathability, keeping the foot dry even in wet or changing conditions. The "3D Flex System Evo" provides improved ankle mobility while maintaining support and stability.

The "Double Heel" system, with its pronounced heel pocket, enhances braking during descents, offering a smoother experience on the trail and reducing muscle fatigue. Finally, the Vibram SpringLug Tech sole with the "Impact Brake System" provides traction on rocks and hard surfaces. The reinforced nylon-carbon sole and soft PU foam midsole improve comfort. Each half pair weighs approximately 640g, offering a good balance between durability and weight for a high-quality model.
