During the declining decade of the 1980s primarily, some former organizational members, supported by certain old Marxists, both disappointed with their previous paths and in contact with the eclectic currents of the West, decided to combine both their earlier theories so that, within the upcoming synthesis, the future of the nation would emerge as a clear stance.
Since then, the carriers of this new solely ideological proposition, which never gained popular resonance or organizational structure, remained merely a theoretical construct. They attempted through an incompatible syncretism to return to the intense Orthodox tradition and moral flexibility, sometimes even through interpretive distortion of sources, to oppose the contemporary aggressive Europeanization of the nation, which was occurring from above, without popular consent or even tolerated approval.
The return to the roots of tradition was justifiably seen as a realistic response to the denial of national self-awareness beneath the cunning but porous European veneer, which at that time was promoted in the history showcase, packaged as "Deloar" bundles.
